2024.01.17. – Nyilvánosságra hozták a 24. Game Developers Choice Awards (GDCA) jelöléseit, amelyeket elég egyértelműen ural a The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom és a Baldur’s Gate 3, hiszen mindkettőt hét kategóriában nominálták, míg a Cocoon öt díjat kaphat a hamarosan érkező átadón. Ezek a fejlesztők díjai, de a GDCA a Te véleményedre is kíváncsi: közönségszavazáson támogathatod azt a játékot, ami a legjobban tetszett 2023-ban.

A vezető fejlesztők zsűrijének előválogatása után 16 tavalyi játék esélyes a GDCA díjaira, összesen kilenc kategóriában. Ezek mellett kiemeltek olyan címeket is, amelyek bár egytől egyig elismerésre méltó játékok, az adott díj legjobb aspiránsai közé nem fértek fel.
